My sweet little Miley...

This post is going to be about our dog Miley:)

We got Miley a little over 2 years ago! She was a birthday present from Kaz. I had planted the seed in his ear that I wanted a puppy, and he finally gave in [He wanted one just as badly]. When he told me, that he was getting me a puppy and we could pick her up, I couldn’t stand it. See we were supposed to go pick her up TOGETHER 2 days later…BUT that wasn’t working for me. I wanted her that day! Kaz was working on a project that night, so I said I would be fine to get her myself. We didn’t have a crate or anything, so I thought well since she’s a puppy a plastic storage container would suffice for the ride home…BIG MISTAKE! She jumped out not even half a mile down the road. So I had to ride with a rambunctious puppy in my lap all the way home [which was about 45 minutes]. The family who raised her [she was 6 weeks old when we got her] named her Mandy. That didn’t work well for me, but I wanted to keep the M, so we came up with Miley[not after Miley Cyrus-although I like watching Hannah Montana!]

The first night was very interesting! We didn’t have a crate so we had to put up some old boards for her to stay enclosed in 1 area. A couple times throughout the night, I woke up to her jumping on the bed with me and Kaz. Needless to say, the boards didn’t work and we went the next day to get a crate!

Below are a few pictures from our first day with Miley:)

Miley is a really good dog. We couldn’t imagine not having her, although she does get into a LOT of trouble and has the craziest mood swings.

A few things about Miley…
She loves water, a bath, and the MUD!

She loves any toys that squeaks, balls, socks, or any clothes that smell.

She loves smelling my breath in the mornings, although I’m not sure why!

She barks at fly’s, birds, insects…anything that moves!

Her favorite place in the house is the bathtub…AND if the bathroom door is not shut when someone is taking a shower, she has been known to jump in and join!

She loves going places-If she sees the car kennel she becomes uncontrollable with excitement to leave.
In a dog training class, she was the worst student.

I entered her in the Lowcountry's Naughtest Dog contest and she came in second.

She’s scared of sidewalk storm drains.

She’s very protective of me and Kaz…If Kaz ever starts even playing with me, she will bite his butt! She loves me the most:)

If she sees that we are leaving the house, she gets sad and will turn her back to you and give you the saddest eyes!

She will eat anything [yesterday she actually ate a piece of fabric:( I couldn’t get it away from her].

She loves peanut butter!

I call her Miley Mae and Stinker…She comes to both!

She can’t stand for water to be in a bowl-She digs in out in a matter of minutes

I dress her up all the time [For Halloween she has been a hotdog and banana!]

She loves being with me in our office. That’s her favorite room. When I get let her out of her kennel in the afternoons she immediately grabs a toy and runs to the office!

She thinks our bed is hers..She doesn’t sleep with us but jumps on the bed every morning and scrubs!

If she’s in trouble, she hides underneath the table so we can’t get to her.

Her favorite treat is Ice!

She’s the best dog! Below are a few pictures of Miley:)

Sad eyes...

She used to do this when she was little...I miss it:(

She claimed this chair...we don't have it anymore..

This is how she plays with her toys...on her back...

In the mud...Oh BOY....

Her favorite place...the bathtub....

The weekend, good friends, and a wedding...

This past weekend Kaz and I went to Greenville! We LOVE visiting Greenville! We stayed with our good friends Dawn and Seth! I'm sad I didn't take any pictures with them:( BUT we had a great time! Kaz and Seth put down tile in their master bathroom, while Dawn and I had a lot of catching up to do:) I had a wedding in Greenville on Saturday, so my time with our friends was limited....The wedding was absolutely gorgeous! The church was probably one of the prettiest churches I've ever been in! I love old churches! It was rainy and cold, but the happy couple didn't mind taking a few pictures outside! To see a few of the pictures from the wedding, click here!

Sunday morning, we left Greenville and stopped to meet some friends on our way through Columbia. You've seen this little girl before...Miss Ashlyn, Anne and Chris! Kaz hasn't had the privilege of meeting Ashlyn until yesterday, so I told him before we met them that he only had a limited amount of time to hold her, because I was being selfish! Ashlyn is the sweetest little girl, and I can't get enough of her:) Below are a few pictures....
BTW-These were taken with my camera phone, so they're not the best quality:)

Overall, we had a great weekend. We loved getting to see our good friends, catch up, and spend time together!

A new toothbrush....and a happy husband.....

OK STOP: Before you read this first part, don’t criticize me because I’m sure you’ve done this at one time or another:)

When Kaz and I travel, the one thing that I ALWAYS forget to pack is my toothbrush! I don’t know why, I just always forget it. It’s the one thing that I can’t remember to pack. When we’re visiting my parents, it’s not a problem because I have an extra toothbrush there that I can use, but if we travel somewhere other than my parents we usually have a problem….My philosophy is why buy another toothbrush for $5 when I’ll be home in 2 days…I can just use Kaz’s. Well Kaz doesn’t mind me using his toothbrush, but after a day or two he’s ready for me to get my own because I usually beat him to brushing my teeth first, which puts him with a wet toothbrush when it’s his time. So over Christmas we went to St. Louis to visit his family, and of course I forgot my toothbrush. So I used his for a week…To make matters worse, when we got back home I couldn’t find my toothbrush. I guess for once in my life I actually packed it but left it at my parents house[we visited them before going to St. Louis]. So once again, I was stuck using Kaz’s until I went to the store to buy one….Let’s just say I’m not the best person at remembering to buy everything I need at one time. I usually have to make at least 2 trips to the store, so 15 days later I’m just now getting around to buying a toothbrush. I could have really milked it because Kaz really wanted me to buy my own toothbrush…I could have bought like a $50 one, but instead I got this one:)

It cost $6, it's pink and I know my husband is going to be extremely happy to have his toothbrush back! We are going out of town today for the weekend, so let’s just hope I can remember to pack my new toothbrush:) Tell me, I’m not the only one who’s ever done this…..

Manna....

The last 2 days have been very hard for me…Monday, was the hardest day I’ve had in a long time! I had a hard time believing truth, and believed every lie thrown my way. I finally became so overwhelmed, that I felt like I was having a panic attack. My heart felt like it was about to come out of my chest, and I could not calm down. To say I was anxious was an understatement. I cried until I had no more tears, and finally settled down still fighting to believe truth…

I woke up Tuesday morning feeling doubtful. I went in the kitchen to make a smoothie and of course our Kitchen Aid blender stopped working. It started again….Kaz tried everything he could to calm me but it wasn’t enough. As I was walking out the door, I ran back in the bathroom to make sure I had unplugged my curling iron. As I went in the bathroom, I noticed a devotional book that I’ve had for awhile now but haven’t picked up lately…The title “HOPE”. Coincidence…No….I picked it up and stuffed it in my purse. On the way to work, I listened to a local Christian radio station…I don’t usually do that in the mornings. I love listening to a few radio shows so I’m always changing between stations but yesterday morning all I wanted to do was listen to uplifting and encouraging songs. Before I went into work, I read the first part of this devotional. It’s a part that I read over and over throughout last year, but yesterday I needed to read it again. Here’s my interpretation and how it applies directly to me today…

Exodus 16:
3And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger. 4Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. 5And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily. 6And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land of Egypt: 10And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud. 11And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 12I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God. 13And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host. 14And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. 15And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat. 16This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents. 17And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.

The process here was clear. God provided manna, everyone worked to get the manna, and everyone received the food they needed. No one was without food regardless of how little manna they brought in. Some gathered more, some gathered less, but they were all fed the same amount.

Without the manna, people would die. God would not allow people to store the manna up [except on the 6th day]. Every day the manna had to be collected in order to be fed and nourished….

My sinful nature will be anxious and doubtful everyday without the Lord. I have to be fed everyday by His word…HE IS TRUSTWORTHY….HE WILL PROVIDE FOR ME….AND HE LOVES ME….

I’m still fighting today…but I’m trusting….

A troubling find....

So, I heard about this on the radio awhile back and it completely disturbed me...I don't even know if that's the best way to describe how disgusted I am about this whole thing...
It's called Ashley Madison. Have you ever heard of it?

It's basically a dating website for married individuals. Did you hear that...FOR MARRIED individuals? Ashley Madison's slogan is ," Life is short. Have an affair." What has this world come to? I read an article about this, and a lady who uses this service was interviewed. She went on to say that the guy she met through Ashley Madison was married, had 3 children, but didn't want to leave his wife, and she didn't want a committment so it was perfect.

WOMEN-PRAY FOR YOUR HUSBANDS...
HUSBANDS-PRAY FOR YOUR WIVES....

I honestly can't even believe this....This world is so lost. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY

HOPE....

Today I’ve been very sad and frustrated. Some small things have happened within the last 2 days that shouldn’t have bothered me but they did. I got frustrated and have let Satan beat me up with lies. This morning I’ve been so discouraged I just wanted to run away and cry, but I couldn’t. I started thinking a little about HOPE. The last couple months what I’ve been learning about HOPE applies only in my situation. My perspective hasn’t been how HOPE applies to everyone else….

I started thinking about people in other countries who are starving or living in poverty, and what HOPE means to them….
I started thinking about a mom who just lost a child unexpectedly and what HOPE means to her….
I started thinking about a husband who was just diagnosed with cancer and was told he would only live 2 months and what HOPE means to him….

When I started thinking about other people besides myself, I became really convicted of how little my faith in Christ really is.

I started reading this story in Mark 5.
21When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake. 22Then one of the synagogue rulers, named Jairus, came there. Seeing Jesus, he fell at his feet 23and pleaded earnestly with him, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live." 24So Jesus went with him.
A large crowd followed and pressed around him. 25And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28because she thought, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." 29Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
30At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"
31"You see the people crowding against you," his disciples answered, "and yet you can ask, 'Who touched me?' "
32But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. 33Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. 34He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."

You see, this lady had amazing HOPE and faith…She had done everything she could to be cured. Talked to doctors, spent all her money, tried different medicines and nothing helped. Her ONLY HOPE was Christ. She went that day to see HIM with HOPE that HE alone would heal her.

Today I’m fighting to believe this. My ONLY HOPE is in Christ…everyone else will fail me, everyone else will disappoint me, BUT ONE.

Where are you at today? Wherever you are, KNOW that the Lord is near…KNOW that HE hears your cry, KNOW that HE is the only one.

Saying goodbye to a dear friend[not a person].....

I'm trying really really hard to give up my friend Mr. Diet Coke! It's been 1 week since I've last seen him and I must say I can already tell a difference in how I feel[in a good way]. You see I drank Diet Coke WAY TOO MUCH! I blame it on my parents[NOT REALLY] but I do kid around with them and Kaz about it. See growing up my dad would always wake me up before he left for work, and every morning he would bring me a little cup of Diet Coke! In college, I really starting drinking more of it and it came to a point for a few years where I wouldn't drink anything else ALL day EXCEPT Diet Coke! It was the first thing I thought about grabbing in the morning...That's really bad....BUT I'm trying to stop completely. My dad hasn't had any soda in over a year...I'm trying to give it up for good! There's nothing wrong with drinking it, but for me I can't just have 1! Goodbye dear friend....

Also, I'm HAPPY to say I've lost 17 pounds since Dec!!!! I recently started back running and I've been tring to lose weight also. My 1st goal is 20 more pounds[then I will weigh what I did when Kaz and I got married]. 2nd goal is 20 pounds on top of that[then I will weigh what I did starting college]. The 2nd goal may not be a possibility but I'm going to try hard. I have a lot more muscle from playing sports for so long, so I always weigh a lot more than I actually look! Today was my 3rd week straight training for a half marathon and I ran 5 miles! It was definitely hard and my pace slowed down a good bit BUT I DID IT!

This also marks the 2nd week that Kaz and I have been juicing[to see what we juice keep scrolling down to previous post]. Today we started adding 1 kiwi to the mix and it is so good. My mouth now waters for this juice every morning. I've replaced my breakfast with 1 glass[about 10 oz] and starting this week my mid morning snack is going to be another glass! Below are 2 pictures of the juicing. Be prepaid it LOOKS really good!
1 batch[what I drink in a day]

Looks good right? I'm continuing forward on this "heathly" journey!

I don't like....

I've come to hate leaving home(away from Kaz). Don't get me wrong, I LOVE traveling BUT I've come to dread traveling by myself for weddings...I don't know what it is. I love photography and I'm so THANKFUL the Lord has blessed me and my business, but when I have to travel to another city the day before and the hours leading up to it I get really sad. Today I had my first wedding of 2010 in Hartsville, SC. Now, Hartsville is where all of my family lives so I love going home, BUT at the same time I didn't want to go home. Normally, I would go up on Friday and come back Sunday. This time I did a day trip which normally never happens...I couldn't bring myself to leave Kaz for more than that. I honestly don't know what it is.....
My theory is that I've been so busy for the last 6 months and our time together has been minimal, I just want to be at home with him and Miley as much as possible. There's nothing wrong with that right?
Anyway, I'm just blabbering....The wedding went great! I was able to capture some really cool shots! Now I'm back at home with Miley at least(Kaz is watching the cowboys game with some friends), so I'm not sure what time he will get back tonight BUT for now I'm perfectly happy at HOME:)

Today I'm.....

Today I'm rejoicing in the Lord's faithfulness in my life. These last 3 months I've felt like a completely different person, than 6 months ago. When my doctor told me she could no longer help me, I became a different person...I got so mad at the Lord and didn't really care about anything except my photography business and Kaz. I pulled away from a lot of people(emotionally), gained a good amount of weight, and simply gave up. I'm thankful that the Lord drew me back to HIM.

Kaz and I have been praying for some really big things in our life(I'll share soon-I promise). I woke up this morning WITH SO MUCH EXCITMENT because I honestly feel like the Lord is doing bigger things right now than I see. I'm anticipating his blessings...and waiting to see how he works. During the "darker" stages of this journey, Kaz has stayed faithful to me and faithful in praying for me. He's lead our family as best he could, and today I want to thank him for something that he's prayed that has just now hit home with me....
This whole time at the end of all of his prayers, he's thanked the Lord for specifically carrying out those big prayer request. Example: Even though for a long time I didn't believe we would have a family, he did...he always thanks the Lord for our child(children) and prays specifically for them...For awhile that always bothered me because I didn't understand why he thought we would have children. I didn't understand why he didn't feel the same way I did, and didn't hurt like I did. BUT in reality he does hurt, and he doesn't understand why we've gone through what we have, but he still has HOPE! He still has been trusting and walking by faith! So today I'm thankful....and I'm thanking the Lord for things I can't yet see.

2 things I'm sure of....During this time the Lord has strengthened both of us, and the Lord has blessed us. So with that, we are anxiously anticipating and waiting on the Lord and His perfect plan. We are rejoicing!

Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings as eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Psalm 30:11-12
O Lord...
YOU turned my wailing into dancing...
You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with JOY.....
that my heart may sing to you and not be silent...
O Lord my God, I will give YOU THANKS, FOREVER....

Baked spaghetti, Lebanon, and New Years….

Last week, we visited Kaz’s parents in Fairview Heights, Illinois. It was a great trip as always!
One day while we were there, we visited Lebanon. It’s a really cool little city that has a lot of unique stores (mom and pop). I love older cities like that and have always wondered what it would be like to live there…We walked through the stores, sipped on hot chocolate and walked through this very tiny little park(Honestly it’s the smallest park I’ve ever been in, BUT it was really cool!). Below are a few pictures from our time in Lebanon (It reminds me of towns you see in old movies).

New Year’s Eve we went out to dinner with some of Kaz’s friends from high school (Kevin and Joelle) on the Hill in St. Louis. We went to a restaurant called Charlie Gitto’s. It was a very swanky Italian restaurant. I ordered the baked spaghetti…Literally when I finished it didn’t even look like I touched the plate! They were very generous on the helpings! If you are ever in St. Louis and want to eat a great older Italian Restaurant check out Charlie Gitto’s! Below are a few pictures from our time in St. Louis!

An all too familiar phone call….

It was New Years Day, Kaz and I were in St. Louis with his family at the movie theater watching The Blind Side. When we left the theater I checked my phone and had a missed call/voicemail from a friend…I checked the voicemail…Kaz asked who it was and my first reaction was “She’s pregnant”. The voicemail made no mention of that, but I just knew….deep down I knew. So I called my friend and I was right she is pregnant (and I’m really happy for her)…. BUT this type of phone call is all too familiar. You see in the last year, I’ve had 12 friends tell me they were pregnant. Most of them have been phone calls, a few in person. My first reaction every time is tears streaming down my face. My first thought is I want to get away…BUT that can’t happen. I feel awful everytime this happens because I cry. I cry because it happened to yet another friend instead of me. I cry because I don’t understand why it’s not happening for me. I cry because I feel alone yet again. I cry because I just want one time to be making that phone call. And I cry because I’m ready to be out of this season in my life…

A few months ago, I was talking to my friend Anne on the phone about where I was at with everything. I was crying hysterically because the Lord had been revealing to me that I needed to rejoice in my suffering and consider it a blessing. I didn’t want that….To me that was the last thing I wanted to do. I WANTED what I WANTED (period). I’ve gone through so many stages on this journey, I could write a book. BUT this post is to tell you the result from the 2 stories above….

After that phone call on New Years, I was upset and cried, and then had to apologize for getting upset. It’s never about me not being happy for someone else…I’m upset because of where I’m at. BUT even though I cried (and a little encouragement from Kaz), I still had HOPE! I have HOPE! Monday morning as I was driving to work, I started thinking about my friend who is beginning this new journey of pregnancy and becoming a mom. So badly do I want that, but as I was driving I started thinking about ALL the blessings the Lord has given me and Kaz during this time that we’ve been waiting…AND I thought I wouldn’t have it any other way! This trial has been a blessing and I think for the first time I’m realizing that. It still hurts, and trust me I’m still going to cry BUT I KNOW that MY GOD is FAITHFUL. HE WILL TAKE CARE OF ME AND WILL SOMEDAY GIVE ME AND KAZ THE DESIRES OF OUR HEARTS! I HAVE HOPE even if I cry!

Romans 5:3-6
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, HOPE. And HOPE does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Whatever stage you’re in on your journey, I pray that you will fight to believe that the LORD IS GOOD and you will experience JOY and HOPE!

5 little things....

This post is going to tell you 5 things about me:)
1. I LOVE dishes…It’s very hard for me to pass up dishes. I could look at them for hours. Currently, we have 3 full sets of dishes, 2 different sets of salad/dessert plates, 8 different sets of glasses, etc….and I still want more! Almost in every store I look through the kitchen section, and in kitchen stores Kaz practically has to pull me out! Here’s the problem…I’m also very picky about dishes…I don’t like using them! Haha! Seriously, I don’t. If someone comes over for dinner we will use the “good” dishes. Kaz always makes it a point to say “This is only the 3rd time we’ve used these.”(He has a lot to learn!) BUT seriously he’s right. I have a whole cabinet full of dishes, bake ware, etc that still has the tag on it from our wedding. I love the stuff and even registered for it, but I don’t want to use it because it’s the “good stuff” and I like the way it looks new. AND one more thing, I hand wash all of my dishes. I don’t put them in the dishwasher…I can’t stand the thought of putting my nice dishes and glasses in the dishwasher so I wash them all, and put the older stuff in the dishwasher. Sounds crazy right? That’s 1 thing you probably never knew about me:) Below is a set of dishes I look at all the time and dream about having ONE day. Fiesta Dishes!

2. My favorite time of the day is when I get to take these little guys….Multi Gummie Vitamins:)

3. I LOVE reality TV! I watch more shows than I can keep up with…well I DVR them and watch them when I have time BUT I LOVE LOVE LOVE reality TV. Some of the shows I watch are:
-The Hills
-The City
-The Girls Next Door (I don’t know why….)
-The Rachel Zoe Project
-The Real Housewives of Atlanta
-Biggest Loser
-Keeping up with the Kardashians
-Giuliani and Bill
-Kendra
AND I watch E News everyday to see the latest celebrity news….Not just reality TV but that’s the majority of what I watch. Other shows I watch are (Hannah Montana-Sad I know, Greek, 90210, The Office, etc)

4. I am terrified of spiders, and any other bug you can think of…I even HATE killing them because I’m scared they will attack me! One time I was getting in my car to go to work and I saw a REALLY BIG spider on the passenger seat. So I panicked, went next door to get my 65 year old neighbor who had just had back surgery to come kill it…He couldn’t find it, so I called Kaz(who was at work) crying because I couldn’t get in my car until that spider was dead. He came home, found and killed THE BIGGEST HAIRIEST SPIDER (Seriously) and THEN I still wouldn’t drive my car for 2 weeks!
NEEDLESS TO SAY, I HATE bugs especially spiders!

5. My middle name is Margaret! I’ve never really cared for my middle name because it’s an older name BUT it was both of my grandmother’s names who were amazing women so I don’t mind it:) and may pass part of it along one day!

2 glasses of carrot juice anyone...

SOOO....We decided to juice! AND it was actually good! We talked about it all week, and the benefits out weigh giving up "foods that aren't as good for us". I saw an add on TV that Macy's was having a 40% off sale on all juicers and mixers so once we flew back into Charlotte yesterday from St. Louis we found a Macy's and bought a mixer for a fantastic deal. Here's the juicer we got!

850 watts, 2 speed

This morning we went and bought all of the vegetables for the week! Kaz mixed the first batch which came to about a liter. This is what was in it:
1 bag whole carrots
1/2 bag cellery
1 green apple
1 tangerine
Half of a zuccinni
Half of cucumber
Here's a picture of Kaz mixing everything together!

Here's the result!

I thought it would taste like carrots but it was actually a pretty sweet tasting drink. It filled me up for about 2 1/2 hours and wasn't bad tasting at all! I'm excited for this "healthy" journey!

To juice or not to juice.....

Have you ever heard of The Hallelujah Diet? Kaz and I know several people who live by this diet and it's honestly something that I have NEVER wanted to do. The Hallelujah Diet includes eating more fruits, vegetables, drinking more water, removing meats from your diet, etc. NOW I do not want to do this full force, but Kaz's mom and dad have started doing parts of this diet such as juicing carrots, drinking barley, etc. In college, Kaz and I both drank barley max everyday for a semester and we could really tell a difference in our energy level....The testimony stories of this diet are amazing! People have been cured from all types of diseases once starting this diet, including a few friends of ours. Since it involves so much fruits and vegetables, there are a lot less toxins entering the body.
The thought of this does not sound appealing to me...I mean if you see the carrot juice or the barley max it makes me want to throw up! BUT it's so good for the body. That's the part thats appealing to me.
When Kaz and I were taking the barley back in college, I would drink it so fast because it looks and taste so gross. It's green...It doesn't matter what you put the powder in..it will turn green! One time I had the brillant idea to put it in my smoothie...BAD IDEA....At least when I put it in apple juice I could drink it really fast. A smoothie takes awhile to drink...NEEDLESS to say I will never put it in a smoothie again. Below is a picture of what it looks like...

GROADDDYYYY Right? Yeah, it's pretty disgusting BUT the benefits are INCREDIBLE...
