double date ideas...

SO this weekend a friend and I are planning a double date for my husband and her FUTURE husband:) I feel like I'm never creative when it comes to these things....I always tend to go towards cooking dinner or just going out to eat and then thats the end:( I NEED help on what to do! We don't want to spend a lot of money but something nice to show them they are loved! Tell me some creative dates you have planned OR fun dates with your love....

I planned a date one time and this may not be a great double date now that I think about it but we went to the mall (really just target) and whoever got the best item for 5 dollars won (nothing they just won). It was fun for me ; )

oh your design looks good! So did you decide to go with just the 2 columns? I am still testing my 3 columns out... It seems so busy but I feel like I have too much stuff for just 2 columns...

I love your new blog design. I don't know about double dates, but if you looking for some unique, exciting dates go to my church website and try out "The Great Dating Experiment". Anyone can do it. Just download the dates and have fun. You are not suppose to read ahead. Just exclamation point to point. I cheated a little on that part. We will not be able to do it this weekend, but next weekend we will be doing date 1. I have not blogged about it more because I want to get date 1 under my belt first. Here is the link if you want to check it out.

I'm not very creative either. But we do have this fun thing (not sure if your men will like it or not) called the Mad Potter. You can go paint pottery. It's cheap, relaxed and our place has live accustic music on Friday nights. You sit around tables and can talk and have a great time! You could even make platters with your last name on them or something:) They fire them and you go pick them up the next week. I've only done one piece and it turned out beautifully! I can't wait to do it again!

We like to go to cooking classes, wine tastings, pottery painting, bowling...we are always looking for something different to do.

I love going bowling! Chris and I used to go a lot when we first started dating.

If it wasn't so cold this weekend I would say go downtown and do a carriage ride or a ghost tour. It's always fun to act like a tourist every once in awhile.

I'm sure y'all will have fun regardless!

Geocaching is so much fun!!! If you try this once, you'll be hooked. There is also an iPhone app to help you find your first cache.

You guys could go to a shooting range...if you have guns. The last double date I went on was a lot of fun. We went to a place that serves Tapas (mini entrees and appetizers). It is a lot of fun because you order throughout the whole night. Share with your honey and try lots of different styles of food. Then we went to a wine bar and listened to live music. We had a blast!
