Blogging withdrawals...

If you haven’t entered the pearl necklace giveaway that I’m doing, please click here! Remember the giveaway closes tomorrow night at 8pm!

This is how I’ve felt the last 2 days….It’s actually been a good thing but I’ve been out of town, and from the time I left Charleston yesterday morning until now I have literally been on the go non-stop! It’s been crazy! As I’m writing this, I can hardly keep my eyes open….Oh how I’ve thought about all the news I’ve missed from my sweet blogger friends and I know it will be a little while longer until I can catch up….Do you ever feel this way when you are away from the Internet? I read on Thursday a blog that talked about the Internet being a thing and not a place….I think I make it a place way too much! How about you? Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE reading blogs, looking at Etsy, etc BUT sometimes I spend WAY too much time here! I’ve decided to start setting a time limit on how much time I spend looking at blogs at one time…and how often I look at them during the day…How about you? What are your thoughts on this?

I was just talking to my husband about this very same thing today. I sit down to go through my blog reading list... not spend a HUGE amount of time on any one blog... and the time FLIES past! I can't believe how much time I end up spending!! :) I am going to have to set some sort of time limit or just look around on certain days.

I def miss it when I am away from my computer but not too much! The reason for that is because when I am away it means I am being productive! lol.

Amy I am never away that long:) I find internet at hotels, and now i have it on my phone! It's insane! Thanks for stopping over, we did have fun at the park, even though my boys where hating each other for the first 15 minutes, of course over a football!

yes. it's unreal how fast time goes by when you're on the internet. so crazy! time limits are good - otherwise i'd never accomplish anything in the real world!

YES! Blogging is such a time hog, I really have to set boundaries. I try to make myself do several needed chores before I sit down to the computer. You know, 30 minutes of laundry/dusting/dishes/etc and THEN computer time. I have to make myself take breaks, too. It seems crazy, but it's just like any social crowd I suppose!

I think I am on here too much myself! It seems you sit down and before you know it an hour as gone by! I definitely go thru withdrawal when I can't get to the internet!! I would rather read blogs than watch tv. I am becoming a new follower and I am going to enter your giveaway!

I totally agree with you! I love blogging, but sometimes I hate it because I do spend too much time hopping from one great blog to the next.

That darn computer lures you in and then sucks your time away! I had to make a pact (with myself) that I wouldn't go on the computer when my kids are awake becasue then they get into trouble (1), they watch TV (2) and I just don't spend time doing mom things if I'm blogging (3)...so limits are a must.
But I have to say that I have met SO many NEAT people with blogging.
Your photography is great btw!
Glad to have met you in "blog land" :)

I think a time limit is a great idea! The problem with that, for me, is that I will always talk myself into just 10 more minutes!

I NEED to put a time limit to my internet time! A lot of times late in the week I have time at work to read blogs so I can catch up, but at the beginning of the week I feel so "behind" in all of the blogs in my dashboard. Since I was out of town this week, I feel really behind! Sometimes I think I really need to "get a life" and not worry about making sure I read everyone's blogs!

I have to not go on the computer at all if i need to get something done in real life.. Because once i get started blog hopping- there is no stopping.

Amy, I think we all go through the same problems, as we start the "blog surfing", time just flies by and when we see it, it has been hours since we started.

I am trying to keep my blogging to a minimum, but it is SO hard ; )

Girl, I totally understand. Last week Leo worked 7 days in a row so by the time he got home? I was too tired to read or write anything really.

But now I am paying for it...so many posts to read. It stresses me out!
