life with Annie Rice..

Annie Rice is such a blessing and joy to be around! Her transition has blown me away! It's very evident that the Lord has had his hand all over us. From the minute we took her out of the car Saturday, she hasn't stopped smiling! She is such a happy baby. She wakes up smiling and clapping. She lights up when dada comes home from work. She constantly calls momma and looks all over for me if I'm not in the room. She responds to her "new" name, Annie Rice. She wants to be loved and held. Just in the few days we've had her, she's learned to "kiss kiss", wave bye bye, and fake cough:) She's so sweet. She is sleeping 8-10 hours a night. She loves bath time and splashes water everywhere! She constantly has her hands in her mouth because of teething and always carries around a teething ring. In a high chair, she puts her feet over the top. Yesterday, my mom and I had a lot of errands to run which lasted about 6 hours. She never once cried...She was just as happy as she could be. I can't get enough of her!

Amy and Kaz, Congratulations! I don't even remember whose blog i found you off of! but so excited! I actually checked the family profiles on bethany's website today (as we are also waiting), and saw ya'll had had a placement so I quickly found your blog and read this sweet God story! Couldn't be more thrilled for you all! So thankful to our great God for uniting your family! Praise Him! And thank you for sharing your bumpy road- your faith has both challenged and encouraged me! Thank you!

Such happiness! I am so excited for you.

We have one adopted granddaughter that we got when she was a newborn about a month old...and now she will be 19 in November.

We felt like she was such a blessing from God to our family...just like you do! And she was!

Annie is so cute and she seems to be adjusting well. I love her sweet smiles! And you and your hubby look soooo happy too.

God Bless Your New Little Family!

she is beautiful and fits perfectly with you two. I'm in tears as I read this because I was remembering the post where you were so angry and hurt that God had not given you this child yet. And now those hurts are gone and you have your little one and I'm just SO excited for you. God bless your family.
