Well, I have finally started going through the Disney World pictures. I took so many it's been a little overwhelming! The ones below are the ones I took on my phone...The pictures I took with my camera will come next week:) I'm still working on editing them.
We had SUCH A GOOD TIME! I really didn't know what to expect of the trip. We used to go there all the time growing up, and after working there I always said I would never take my child there unless they were at least 5. We went into it with no expectations and an "easy going" attitude, and we had a BLAST! The first day was the drive down. We met up with some old college friends for dinner and just stayed around the hotel. Day 2, we went to the Magic Kingdom. We started out riding a few rides but Annie Rice didn't really care for them, so we decided to eat lunch and walk around...As we were leaving the park to go back to the hotel for her nap, we happened to catch one of the parades. Let me just say, that first parade was the HIGHLIGHT of the trip, I think for us all! We knew Annie Rice loved the Disney characters, but I honestly thought she would like Donald Duck the best because she always says duck and makes the "famous duck face". BUT when she saw GOOFY, her eyes lit up and she didn't stop talking about Goofy. The first parade was so neat because the dancers saw how happy she was and kept coming back to her. She got to shake Goofy's hand, and as we started walking away through the crowd of hundreds of people, Goofy actually came and found us in the crowd to give her a hug again. Seeing how happy she was made me start crying right in the middle of Disney World! Not just a little cry either...It took a good 10 minutes for me to stop:) It was a happy time to say the least! After the parade, I knew we had to let her pick out a goofy stuffed animal! And she did:) It's her favorite stuffed animal now and has replaced her beloved "beer"[her name for her bear who she sleeps with every night]. After that, every time we saw a parade, she would start saying "Come on Goofy".
Day 3, we played at the pool for awhile, shopped at the outlets, and went to Downtown Disney. My little Annie had such a good time playing at the pool. While there, a little boy came over to play in the pool with her, and she yelled at the top of her lungs, "Hey baby". I couldn't help but laugh:) My one request was to eat dinner at Uno's Pizza and it was delicious! We also stumbled across Pinkberry, which is my FAVORITE, so that just added to the day's fun:)
Day 4[our last day at the park], we just HAD TO MEET GOOFY! So we were at Epcot first thing to meet all the characters at the character spot. We went through the line 2 times. Goofy was the last character and Annie Rice spotted him first thing! We couldn't get to him fast enough. She also yelled at the top of her lungs ,"Dickey Mouse". Oh how I love her sweet little personality.
We saw the parade again:)
My little girl was exhausted every day. I absolutely love some of the sleeping shots I got of her!
The last day was the ride home...Someone didn't even know we were in a car because she slept the whole way:)
This was definitely a memorable trip for us and a very special celebration of her gotcha day and 2nd birthday! I will share more pictures next week from my camera:)

It looks like it was such a great family trip! I love all of her Disney outfits!
She is so cute. Looks like she enjoyed every minute.Where did you get those darling outfits! We are big Disney Nerds, I have a daughter and son-in-law that currently work at MK (in the tunnels) they were married at Epcot's Japanese Garden, and my oldest daughter worked in Downtown Disney at the Disney Store(about the same time you did)before coming home to get married.
Hope you are able make many more trips to the Happiest Place on Earth;)
Yay1...What a fun trip! It looks like Annie Rice really loved Disney World. She is such a cute little 2 year old, and I can see how much you both adore her. I love her duck lips when she makes that face.
I am so glad you could get away and have fun as a family. I love Disneyland and Disney World...they really are two of the "Happiest Places on Earth!"
