losing weight....

I’ve been trying to lose some weight…I worked really hard at it for awhile and then kind of slacked off but I’m so close to my goal I’m back on the band wagon again. Since January I’ve lost 25 pounds. I’ve got 15 more to go!

A few key items that have helped me lose weight:

1. Running!
2. My favorite foods:)

First-My breakfast every morning [Yes, I have ice cream for breakfast] Blue Bunny Aspen Bars!

Snack-100 calorie chocolate pretzels! Yum, my favorite


Lunch and most dinners-Smart Ones. I love these! They are so easy but so yummy! My favorites are the Baked Ziti and Creamy Rigatoni!


I have found a new dinner that I love. Wanchai Ferry Beef and Broccoli. This is so easy and taste delicious! I add Brown Rice and the meal is complete! You should definitely try it!



What are some tips that have helped you lose weight?

Congrats. I have a lot more to lose, but I'm taking it is small numbers. 25 lbs at a time. I drink a lot of water and that helps me a lot. I also eat 6 meals a day so that I do not get hungry. I love your dresses btw. :)

I just started running. I'm hoping to run a 5K sponsored by our church at the end of the summer. Your posts and pics are really inspiring. And I agree, you look great.

Wow you look great! I am still your before picture, haha! I have been trying to loose weight also, I have been running 3 miles 5 days a week, I know I am loosing weight by the way my clothes fit but I have not bought a scale. In the past when I had a scale I would obsess over how much I weighed so, i know it sounds weird but I think it has helped me not weighing myself, for now anyways. As far as dieting, I have just been trying to keep my portions small instead of really "dieting".

Wow! 25 pounds is awesome! I have been trying to get back on the bandwagon too...it is hard though! I eat cereal for a lot of meals, low calories and lots of options. I also love those chocolate pretzel 100 calorie packs! Good luck with the last 15!

Woo-Hoo! Way to go... you look amazing! I've never really had a problem with weight, but have always eaten plain and simple foods (now due to a wheat/milk allergy I am forced to!). Lately, however, my clothes started getting a little tight so I'm briskly walking 30 minutes every morning.

My meals are never huge, I don't eat bread products or many carbs. I even eat chicken for breakfast!

I lost 60 lbs a few years ago (some has found it's way back with losing our child earlier this year) but portion control! Just trimming off a bit at a time. Literally is not a big deal and you don't starve! :)

Oh my gosh Amy!!! I'm so proud of you (and jealous)!!! You look great and seriously, ice cream for breakfast??? You know I'm all for that! Those are my two favorite WW meals too! Way to go girl!

It's so great to see someones success. You look beautiful. 25 pounds is such a feat! Congratulations!! I think every woman knows how hard it can be to lose that excess weight, so to see someone who has had sucess is quite the encourager.

Congratulations! You look fabulous! I have found that following Weight Watchers has been a very successful tool in me losing weight. I've never paid to join, just always used the stuff I could find on the internet to help spur me along. You have a lot to be proud of!

You look amazing! Congratulations to you!! I have about 20 lbs that I've gained with all the fertility treatments. My summer goal is to get a start on losing that. I really need to start running again. I felt so good when I used to run.

You look great! Good job! I few years ago I got serious about losing weight and ended up losing about 23 lbs. I did it the same way as you - running and eating better! I lived on Smart Ones (and I still eat them for lunch a lot and those 2 are my favorite flavors!) For my evening snack, I love fat free popcorn and weight watchers ice cream novelties! YUM! Good job and keep up the hard work! It's so worth it!
